I am happy to report that among the dozens of veterans that will be added to the Warren Veterans’ Honor Roll on November 11will be six men who were enslaved in Warren before they became soldiers in the Revolutionary War. I have been given the honor of telling their stories during the morning event, which begins at 11am at the Warren Town Common. The event will be held outside so I don’t know what we will face weather wise so that is a consideration. It is an open event so attendance is free to all. Would love to see you but certainly understand if you can’t make it. I plan on posting their stories here in November.
